WHAT IS GOURMET SERVICE?<\/h1>\n

THE RESTAURANT<\/h2>\n

If you visit a gourmet restaurant, you will have the opportunity to dine with one of the best chefs in the country. The menu usually consists of one or two menus with about 6 courses each. To understand the chef’s concept, you should follow the menu sequence as much as possible. However, the team also takes into account intolerances and allergies. The procedure in such a restaurant is usually as follows:<\/p>\n

THE VISIT<\/h2>\n

First, you will be greeted by the service team and shown to your table. Here you will first be recommended an aperitif, at the same time you will already be served a first greeting from the kitchen. By looking at the menu, you can get an idea of what the restaurant has to offer. If you have any questions about the dishes, the service team will be happy to help.<\/p>\n

THE CHOICE<\/h2>\n

After you have made your choice, your order will be forwarded to the kitchen. Next, settle the beverage question with you: most restaurants offer a wine pairing. This means that the sommelier has chosen a suitable glass of wine for each course from the menu. If the wine pairing is not right for you, you can also choose a bottle of wine from the wine list or ask for advice on non-alcoholic drinks.<\/p>\n

THE EAT<\/h2>\n

Before you start with the menu, the service usually serves another greeting from the kitchen and some bread. All courses and wines will be announced and explained to you as you are served. If you have any questions, you can always ask. Many restaurants still include small entrees in the menu, such as a sorbet before the main course or a pre-dessert. A special highlight are often the petit fours, which are offered with the coffee after the actual menu. And don’t worry, there’s plenty of cutlery and glasses, the service team will keep re-setting between courses.<\/p>\n

THE FINAL<\/h2>\n

If you do not wish to have a digestif after the coffee, the menu ends at this point and you can order the bill from the service team. If you are satisfied with your visit, the kitchen and service team will be happy to receive a tip. The guideline is, depending on the invoice amount, about 5-10% of the invoice amount. Finally, the service team will help you with your wardrobe and say goodbye. <\/span><\/p>\n
