What are you doing as a Sommelier (gn) New opening Gourmet Palatinate concretely
- You advise guests individually and professionally on wines at the highest level.
- You develop and present suitable wine pairings for gourmet menus.
- You actively sell high-quality wines, rarities and exclusive creations.
- You maintain and develop an award-winning wine list with over 1,200 items.
- You will share responsibility for purchasing, costing and inventory management.
- You organize the wine cellar and plan wine tastings, winemaker dinners and exclusive wine events.
- You will train the service team in the area of wine and work closely with the head chef and restaurant management.
This is you
- You have successfully completed sommelier training or a comparable qualification.
- You have several years of professional experience in upscale gastronomy, fine dining or the hotel industry.
- You have a sound knowledge of German and international wine regions and a passion for exceptional wines and guest experiences.
- You have a confident manner, strong host qualities, a talent for sales and an understanding of business.
- You have high quality standards, attention to detail, team spirit and initiative.
