Silvio Germann vom Mammertsberg ist Koch des Jahre im Gault Millau Schweiz 2024

Silvio Germann is our shining “Chef of the Year 2024”, who inspires at the traditional country castle Mammertsberg on Lake Constance. A former jewel from Andreas Caminada’s talent factory, now at the top as a taste visionary with 18 points.

Paolo Casanova, our first “Green Chef of the Year”, sets new sustainability standards at the “Chesa Stüva Colani” in Madulain GR and earns 17 points for his efforts.

“Rising stars of the year” are Pascal Steffen, Markus Stöckle, Ilario Colombo Zefinetti and Federico Palladino. Other points winners in the 17-team league are Christian Aeby, Dominique Schrotter and Bernd Fabian.

As “Discoveries of the Year”, Paul Cabayé & Stéphanie Zosso, Grégory Halgand and Piero Roncoroni are moving into the focus of the culinary world.

Yannick Hollenstein is recognized as a “Swiss star abroad” for his excellence in Phuket, and former chefs such as August Minikus and Andreas Caminada are proud of him.

On the gastronomy front, we honor Esteban Valle Trujillo as “Host of the Year” and Stefano Petta as our “Sommelier of the Year”, while Damián Carini provides sweet perfection as “Pâtissier of the Year”.
