Personnel of the week

Today we would like to inform you about an inspiring development at the Heinz Winkler residence. None other than Eckart Witzigmann personally visited the new chefs, Stefan Barnhusen and Daniel Pape, to wish them every success in their new challenges. In a moving speech, Witzigmann emphasized the importance of Heinz Winkler’s work and encouraged the two top chefs not only to follow in the footsteps of their predecessor, but also to set their own culinary accents.

The duo, who come from established establishments such as the “Überfahrt”, “Vendome” and “Da Vinci”, represent a promising new beginning for the Residenz Heinz Winkler. Both chefs have already cooked up Michelin stars with their teams and are therefore more than ready to achieve their ambitious goals and take Heinz Winkler’s legacy to new heights.

This comes at a time that has not been easy for either the team or the family at the residence. We would therefore like to thank all those who stood by our side during this difficult phase.

Marianne Lauber, Managing Director of the residence, sums it up aptly: “It’s time to look ahead with optimism and approach the future with fresh impetus.” In the coming weeks, Stefan and Daniel will shape the team and create new culinary highlights that honor the tradition and expertise of the house.

For all gourmet lovers, this is news that triggers great anticipation. We are looking forward to seeing how the Residenz Heinz Winkler will develop under the management of these talented chefs.
