Prediction at the start of the year by Patrick Nottebaum

My vision board for 2025 encompasses many things: family, personal development and clear entrepreneurial goals. For me, this means shaping growth, living values and seizing opportunities – always with a focus on sustainability and quality.

2024 was a challenging year for the food service industry. This is unlikely to change much in the coming years. That’s why the demands on us and the industry’s talent are increasing. Our clients are now checking more carefully than ever before who they bring onto the team. This ensures that only those who have already proven themselves in the industry, or are capable of doing so, make the grade in the selection process. Because the Champions League is not a district league.

What does this mean for Walnut Careers? We stand for clarity, quality and performance – and that is exactly what we expect from the talents we represent. For us, 2025 means: no compromises, but top performance at all levels. This may seem harsh at first glance and does not correspond to what is currently considered the ideal image of many generations. But I am convinced that this is exactly what it will come down to – I am happy to be proven wrong.
